Happy little pooper!

"Come here Chloë! Mama wants to take a picture of all your new teeth."

Can you imagine anything more ridiculous than going to see Pirates of the Caribbean looking like this?? Seriously. Who else but me, has a date to go see a pirate movie with a group of friends, wakes up that morning and gets stabbed in the eye with her dog's claw in a freak accident and winds up with three scratches on her cornea and strict instructions not to remove her eye patch for the next 24 hours? Just call me Captain Jack-ass.

Our 9 month old Chloë was a busy girl today. She can now cruise around the house at speeds that are difficult for her Mama to keep up with (if Mama is also trying to put groceries away, clean the kitchen and prepare lunch). She tried riding the vacuum, tried opening the back door to let the dogs in, tried eating dog food with the dogs (EWWW!) and managed to pull up the kitchen air vent cover and stand in the vent. You'll note that for the most part I use the word 'tried' as Chloë is kept 'tomato staked' all day (read more about tomato staking). All this and a big poopy on her little potty too! The graphic photos of which I will spare all of you from having to view - a fate that Yannick was not so fortunate as to escape!
